Private / Group Tuition

I am happy to offer private / group tuition on a non–accredited basis to individuals or small groups. The following is a selection of my skills that may be of interest. Please contact me if you would like to discuss this further.


Personal Profile
Since leaving school I have been in permanent employment, including terms with the Royal Navy, Nissan Car Manufacturing (UK) Limited, Black & Decker, Bishop Auckland College and Durham County Council.

When receiving voluntary redundancy at Black and Decker I decided to pursue an alternative career. I enrolled on courses with Bishop Auckland College and the IT Learning Centre who are based in Newark, where I successfully gained the MOUS (Microsoft Office User Specialist) Master Certification and other IT qualifications, as well as City and Guilds Certificate in Teaching Adult Learners and Certificate in Education accreditation. In addition to this, I have also completed a HNC in Computing course, hopefully working towards a HND in Computing qualification.

Interests and Activities
Teaching and computing are my main activities, which are aimed at continual self–knowledge and improvement. Personal interests and activities include website design, photography, digital imaging, birdwatching (see Durham Bird Tours), walking and travelling in the UK.
